I grew up visiting Casey. I never remember a time when he wasn't there when I visited. I remember the way his barn smelled. The sweet hay. His nosy face when you walked in the door wondering "why are you in my house and do you have a snack." When we would drive the golf cart up the hill he would run and prance around alongside us, happy and free, the fading sunlight making his chestnut coat shine. I remember helping wash his hay so it wasn't dusty and standing with his dad on a hill making a ridiculous fly contraption while he grazed. I grew up with Casey, and he was always magnificent.
